At Fresco’s Fish & Chips, we are dedicated to protecting global fish stocks and preserving our oceans. We carefully select only the highest-quality fish, chosen for their consistent excellence. Many of our offerings are part of the Ocean Wise program, and we are committed to introducing new Ocean Wise options every three to six months as they become available. Other selections, while not Ocean Wise certified, meet sustainability standards set by the Marine Stewardship Council.

Since opening, we have used only premium cooking oil. Our signature blend, FRY-ON ZTF, combines non-hydrogenated canola and corn oils, making it low in saturated fat and completely free of trans fats—so you can enjoy fried food more healthily.

We take pride in our fish, which is why we use a light, traditional batter that enhances rather than overpowers its natural flavor. Made the old-fashioned way with wheat flour and yellow cornmeal, it delivers a perfectly crisp finish every time.

Our commitment extends to our customers as well. We prepare our coleslaw fresh by hand using locally grown Ontario vegetables and a rich, creamy dressing. We also care deeply about the environment, using biodegradable takeout packaging and cutlery, recycling in-store, and encouraging sustainable habits at home.

Our menu features a variety of specialties, including classic Quebec-style poutine, as well as our hearty Meat Chili Poutine topped with house-made chili and white cheddar curds. For something different, try swapping in sweet potato fries for a flavorful twist.

We’re proud to offer great options for vegan customers too, including Daiya plant-based cheese and a fresh, Ontario-grown vegan mushroom gravy—perfect for creating a delicious vegan poutine. Our house-made vegan chili is another satisfying choice.

All of our ingredients are peanut-free, ensuring a safe dining experience for those with allergies. From crispy deep-fried pickles to our signature Miss Vicky’s-style batter, we’re always experimenting with new flavors while maintaining our commitment to quality.
